Samenvatting: The rapid growth of mobile applications and the Internet of Things have placed severe demands on cloud infrastructure, which has led to moving computing and data services towards the edge of the cloud, inside the so-called “edge computing”. There are multiple instantiations of this concept, such as “fog computing” and “multi-access edge computing”.
