Abstract: | Negotiation is an important part of today’s business pro- cess on an inter-enterprise level. To allow for automating negotiation by agents in this context, it is required that human negotiators can specify the strategies for the agents. In this article we present a meta model, which enables human negotiators to specify their tradeoff strate- gies. Tradeoff strategies are a key aspect of negotiation strategies in gen- eral. This meta model is based on the Ecore meta model, so it is feasible to define code generators for the transformation of given models into the representations that can be executed by an agent. In consequence, specifi- cation of negotiation strategies can be defined by domain experts without in-deep experience in agent programming, e.g. procurement manager. An agent can use the resulting strategy to act on the behalf of the principal. In this paper, we present the negostrategy-meta model and its application in a case study. |
